Alexandria Drive — Final Test in Model 3 Highland πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί| ⚡πŸš— Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under

This was my final drive in the Tesla Model 3 Highland loaner, courtesy of Tesla Australia, and what a journey it has been! Over the last few weeks, I’ve made around 20 videos πŸŽ₯ testing Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised, Down Under Edition) across New South Wales — from scenic Illawarra routes 🌊 to Sydney’s busy CBD 🚦. This drive took me back to the Tesla showroom in Alexandria πŸ“, and it delivered both brilliant highlights ✅ and one serious concern ⚠️. ⸻ 🚫 The Dangerous Moment — Solid White Line Violation The car performed beautifully for most of the drive, but there was one dangerous maneuver I must call out. At one point, FSD crossed a solid white line. In New South Wales, crossing a solid white line is more than just a quirk — it’s an offense under road rules ⚖️. Solid white lines are there to protect drivers, marking areas where lane changes are unsafe due to blind spots, intersections, or limited visibility. Ignoring them can result in fines πŸ’°, demerit points 🚫, and most importantly, accidents. This one moment shows why, while FSD is incredibly advanced, it still requires active human supervision πŸ§‘‍✈️. ⸻ ✅ The Positives of the Drive Apart from that single issue, the rest of the journey was fantastic 🀩. Some highlights: • πŸ›£️ Perfect lane keeping across suburban and arterial roads. • 🚦 Smooth handling of a wide intersection with multiple lanes. • ➕ Confident navigation through a staggered plus junction. • πŸ”€ Clean decision-making at a tricky T-junction. • πŸš‡ Even when GPS signal dropped inside Sydney’s tunnels, FSD maintained logical positioning and guided us safely out. These are not easy conditions — Sydney roads test even the best human drivers. That FSD handled them with such calm composure is proof of how far the system has come. ⸻ 🎬 The End of a Chapter This video marks the end of my loan period with the Tesla Model 3 Highland 🚘. Over 20 drives, I’ve seen the brilliance 🌟 and the quirks πŸ€” of Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under. From scenic drives across the Illawarra escarpment to chaotic CBD intersections, from flawless unprotected turns to strange hesitations — every drive has been an adventure. This final Alexandria trip reminded me why testing is so important: to celebrate the wins, but also to catch the moments (like crossing a solid white line) that need please make sure r ⸻ ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Alexandria Drive — Final Test in Model 3 Highland | A showcase of autonomy’s brilliance with one serious lesson. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #TeslaDownUnder #Model3Highland #Alexandria #Sydney #SydneyCBD #SydneyTunnels #AutonomousDriving #EVLife #Illawarra #ScenicDrive #FutureOfDriving #TeslaShowroomhe referrer sees this report. thanks. refinement.

πŸš—⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | A Millennial’s First Ride πŸŽ“

Every FSD Supervised drive is unique — but this one stood out because I wasn’t driving alone. My passenger was Eamon, a millennial from the University of Wollongong πŸŽ“, who isn’t your typical EV enthusiast. In fact, he loves his petrol cars ⛽🚘, enjoys the sound of an engine, and takes pride in the act of driving itself. Yet curiosity brought him here — he wanted to see for himself what this path-breaking technology could actually do. We began at the University of Wollongong 🏫, a location full of tricky intersections, roundabouts, and sharp turns πŸ›£️ — the perfect real-world test. It wasn’t a long drive, but it was a meaningful one. Having someone like Eamon in the passenger seat gave this journey a fresh perspective. Not from a Tesla fan, not from an EV advocate, but from someone who values tradition, control, and the pure driving experience. And yet… as the Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised, Down Under Edition) ⚡ smoothly handled each turn, merge, and lane choice 🚦, you could see his mindset shift. The system’s composure and calm logic impressed even a skeptic. While he may not be rushing to swap his petrol car tomorrow, Eamon admitted FSD has something powerful to offer — as a safety net πŸ›‘️, a stress-saver 😌, and maybe the future standard πŸš€. This drive was a reminder that autonomy isn’t just for enthusiasts — it’s for everyone 🌍. And the future of driving will be shaped not just by technology, but by whether people like Eamon choose to embrace it. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #UniversityOfWollongong #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #TeslaDownUnder #Model3Highland #Illawarra #EVLife #AutonomousDriving #MillennialPerspective #FutureOfDriving

Sea Cliff Bridge to Austinmer | πŸŒ‰ SUN Friendly FSD Drive | Scenic Drive Australia | FSD-Supervised

Few roads in the world combine natural beauty 🌊🌿 with driving complexity πŸ›£️ quite like the Illawarra escarpment and the Sea Cliff Bridge. In this video, we put Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised, Down Under Edition) to the test — starting at Bald Hill Lookout πŸŒ„, descending through Stanwell Park’s lush forest route 🌳, gliding across the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge πŸŒ‰, and finishing the run at Austinmer Beach πŸ–️. ⸻ 🌲 From Bald Hill to the Forest Curves of Stanwell Park The journey began at Bald Hill πŸŒ„, a site known for its panoramic ocean views and hang gliders πŸͺ‚. From there, the Tesla Model 3 Highland began its descent through the forest route of Stanwell Park 🌳, an undulating path filled with tight hairpin bends ➰, hilly gradients ⛰️, and construction zones 🚧 that reduced visibility. Here, FSD had to work overtime — balancing speed, steering, and logic to maintain flow. Where other systems might have hesitated, Tesla’s vision-based approach πŸ‘€ proved why it’s so powerful: reading the road, interpreting obstacles, and anticipating the next bend with uncanny smoothness. ⸻ πŸŒ‰ Crossing the Iconic Sea Cliff Bridge Emerging from the forest, the road opens into one of Australia’s most breathtaking sights: the Sea Cliff Bridge πŸŒŠπŸŒ‰, suspended dramatically between ocean cliffs and the Pacific below. With waves crashing underneath and sunlight flaring across the hood ☀️, the car held its lane with confidence, merging seamlessly with traffic and proving why this route is a true test of both driver and machine. ⸻ πŸ–️ Into Austinmer From the bridge, we continued to Austinmer Beach πŸ–️, where the Tesla took in suburban streets lined with parked cars πŸš—πŸš—, intersections, and local traffic. The challenge here was direct sunlight on the windshield ☀️, a condition that often blinds earlier iterations of Autopilot. But here, FSD Supervised performed brilliantly πŸ’‘ — maintaining awareness even when the cameras were flooded with glare. We then navigated into a cul-de-sac πŸ”„, where the car executed a smooth U-turn ➰, before heading back toward Stanwell Park to complete the loop. ⸻ πŸ” Highlights of This Drive • 🌳 Forest descent from Stanwell Park with hairpin bends and limited visibility • πŸŒ‰ Flawless cruise across the Sea Cliff Bridge, hugging the coastline • ☀️ Handling direct sun glare on the cameras without hesitation • 🚧 Navigating construction zones and uneven road conditions • ⛰️ Smooth control on hilly undulating paths • πŸ”„ Perfect U-turn in a cul-de-sac • πŸ–️ Relaxed arrival at Austinmer Beach and town centre ⸻ ⚡ Why This Drive Matters This drive wasn’t just a test of autonomy. It was a demonstration of how vision-based self-driving πŸ‘€ adapts in ways that LiDAR-based systems cannot — reading curves, interpreting sun glare, and flowing naturally with the road. It’s proof that FSD isn’t just a feature; it’s a leap into the future of mobility. ⸻ πŸ“Œ Tiny Notes for the Curious • πŸ›£️ The Sea Cliff Bridge is part of Lawrence Hargrave Drive, one of NSW’s most iconic coastal routes. • πŸŒ„ Stanwell Tops, just above Bald Hill, is renowned for its sweeping escarpment views and as a launch site for hang gliders. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Scenic Illawarra Drive — Bald Hill to Austinmer via Sea Cliff Bridge | A flawless showcase of vision-based autonomy. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #FSDSupervised #TeslaAustralia #TeslaFSD #TeslaDownUnder #Model3Highland #SeaCliffBridge #Austinmer #StanwellPark #StanwellTops #LawrenceHargraveDrive #Illawarra #ScenicDrive #AutonomousDriving #evlife 🌊 Part 1 — Kiama Blowhole & Rock Pool Explore the scenic Illawarra coast of NSW with Tesla Full Self-Driving Supervised Down Under 🌿. Scenic Illawarra NSW Routes | Part Three — Kiama to Bald Hill | πŸŒ„πŸš— Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under

Every journey has its defining chapter, and in our Scenic Illawarra Tesla FSD series, Part Three may be one of the most confidence-inspiring drives yet. After the excitement of Part One (Kiama Blowhole 🌊 and Rock Pool 🏊) and Part Two (Berry Supercharger πŸ‡ and Treat Factory 🍬), we set out on a route that tested Tesla Full Self-Driving Supervised (Down Under Edition) in new and demanding ways: a long climb from Kiama’s Treat Factory all the way up to Bald Hill Lookout πŸŒ„. The highlight? Zero interventions 🀯✨. ⸻ 🚦 From Treats to Tight Climbs We began at the Kiama Treat Factory 🍭, where suburban traffic πŸš—πŸšΆ and weekend bustle made for unpredictable conditions. FSD handled pedestrians, parked cars, and tricky merges with smooth logic and steady control. Once clear of Kiama, the car transitioned onto the open Illawarra roads 🌿, threading seamlessly through rolling countryside, inclines ⛰️, and narrowing lanes. Each decision — from lane choice to speed adjustment — felt deliberate and confident. Watching the Model 3 Highland 🚘 glide up the escarpment with no jolts or hesitation was a reminder of just how far autonomy has come. ⸻ πŸ…Ώ️ The Bald Hill Challenge Arriving at Bald Hill Lookout πŸŒ„✨, a place famous for hang gliders πŸͺ‚ and sweeping coastal views 🌊, we faced our final test: the tight and busy car park πŸ…Ώ️. This is where even human drivers hesitate, yet FSD eased its way in and settled without fuss. To see it complete the entire Kiama-to-Bald Hill journey without me once needing to intervene ✅ was nothing short of remarkable. ⸻ πŸ”” Don’t Miss the Series • πŸ“ Part One — Kiama Blowhole 🌊 & Rock Pool 🏊 (zero interventions ✅) • πŸ“ Part Two — Berry Supercharger ⚡ & Treat Factory 🍬 (wins & a few misses ⚠️) • πŸ“ Part Three — Treat Factory to Bald Hill πŸŒ„ (flawless drive, tight car park victory πŸ†) ⸻ πŸŒ‰ Coming Up Next… Part Four will be the crown jewel πŸ‘‘: a drive across the Sea Cliff Bridge πŸŒ‰ into Austinmer πŸ–️, where we’ll push FSD against the glare of the sun πŸŒ… and through the quirks of a seaside town. If you thought Bald Hill was impressive, wait until you see autonomy tested against blinding light ☀️ and coastal chaos 🌊. ⚡ Tesla FSD Navigates Through Scenic Illawarra New South Wales Routes | Part Three — flawless climb to Bald Hill with zero interventions. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #TeslaAustralia #TeslaDownUnder #Model3Highland #Illawarra #Kiama #Berry #TreatFactory #BaldHill #SeaCliffBridge #Austinmer #ScenicDrive #AutonomousDriving #EVLife #TeslaScenicDrive #SelfDriving

πŸš—πŸ‡ Tesla FSD Navigates Through Scenic Illawarra New South Wales Routes | Part Two — Berry Supercha

Welcome back to our scenic Illawarra drive series! If you haven’t watched Part One, where we journeyed from Kiama’s famous Blowhole 🌊 to the Rock Swimming Pool 🏊 with zero interventions, I’d highly recommend starting there. This video is Part Two of the adventure — and it takes us even deeper into the beauty of New South Wales, testing Tesla Full Self-Driving Supervised (Down Under Edition) through vineyards, hills, town centres, and dense Sunday traffic. We began in a Kiama parking lot πŸ…Ώ️, where FSD had to immediately contend with pedestrians, parked cars, and local traffic. The exit from Kiama toward the highway was the first real test, and while the system got most of it right, there was a false move at the highway exit 🚧 where the car drifted onto the shoulder instead of choosing the correct lane. Not flawless, but part of the learning journey. From there, we set course for Berry πŸ“, a charming town known for its Sunday bustle and famous treat factory. ⸻ πŸ”Œ Berry Supercharger at Silos Estate One of the true highlights of this leg was visiting one of the original Tesla Superchargers in New South Wales, located at Silos Estate Winery πŸ‡πŸ·. This spot is special for several reasons: • πŸŒ„ It sits on a reclaimed hill, built on a foundation of wine bottles and wine cogs, making it one of the most unique charging locations in the country. • πŸ›£️ The road to the supercharger isn’t smooth — it’s an uphill track inside the winery grounds. Watching FSD carefully navigate the less-than-perfect uphill approach was genuinely impressive. • ⚡ Once there, the car reached the stalls confidently, though it did have one semi-miss: it wouldn’t back up properly into the supercharger bay. Not a failure, but not perfect either. ⸻ πŸ™️ Exploring Berry Town Next, we rolled into Berry town centre, and this is where FSD Supervised had to shine. The streets were full of Sunday morning pedestrians 🚢, cyclists 🚴, and dense car traffic πŸš—. Navigating through these tight, unpredictable conditions is the hardest kind of driving — yet the car adapted smoothly, handling crosswalks, intersections, and local quirks with logic that felt reassuring. We capped off the Berry visit at the treat factory 🍬, a local favourite, before wrapping up this leg of the drive. ⸻ ✅ The Wins • Smooth suburban navigation leaving Kiama • Brilliant uphill climb to the Berry Supercharger at Silos Estate • Confident handling of pedestrian-heavy Berry town centre • Logical lane discipline in traffic • Scenic, stress-free flow through Illawarra’s countryside ⚠️ The Misses • 🚧 Highway exit false move leaving Kiama (drifted into the shoulder) • πŸ…Ώ️ Semi-miss at Silos Supercharger — hesitation in backing up into the stall ⸻ 🎯 Why This Drive Matters This drive shows both the beauty of the Illawarra region of New South Wales 🌿 and the evolving intelligence of Tesla’s FSD Supervised. It’s not just about autonomy — it’s about seeing how technology adapts to real-world Aussie driving conditions, from heritage towns to modern superchargers. ⸻ πŸŒ‰ Coming Up in Part Three Don’t miss Part Three, which will be the crown jewel of the Illawarra series. We’ll begin at the Bald Hill lookout πŸŒ„, descend through the charming town of Stanwell Park 🏘️, and then roll onto the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge πŸŒ‰ — one of the most spectacular coastal drives in Australia. From cliffs to ocean views, this next leg will truly show the fusion of breathtaking scenery and autonomous driving. ⚡ Tesla FSD Navigates Through Scenic Illawarra New South Wales Routes | Part Two — from Kiama to Berry’s iconic Supercharger and town centre, with highlights, misses, and everything in between. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #Illawarra #Berry #SilosEstate #BerrySupercharger #Kiama #TreatFactory #SeaCliffBridge #StanwellPark #BaldHill #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #Model3Highland #ScenicDrive #TeslaDownUnder 0:00 - Introduction 2:01 - Exit from Kiama Rock Pool Parking πŸ…Ώ️ 10:50 - Poor move with entering shoulder instead of normal lane 11:45 Lovely Kiama curve 13:22 - Great view when on FSD Supervised 14:12 - Crossing under the highway via acess bridge 15:45 - High speed T junction merge 16:45 - Poor move was it maps ? 17:02 - Berry Supercharger Silos Estate 28:00 - Staggered T 29:17 - Going straight on a Plus Junction

Driving through the Illawarra region of New South Wales is always a breathtaking experience 🌿🌊. From coastal cliffs to charming townships, this part of Australia is rich with scenery that makes every journey special. In this video — Part One of our Scenic Illawarra series — we let Tesla Full Self-Driving Supervised (Down Under Edition) take control of the Tesla Model 3 Highland, to see how autonomy performs against the backdrop of one of the country’s most beautiful regions. We began by navigating through a busy construction zone 🚧, a test that highlighted FSD’s ability to adapt to real-world challenges where lanes shift and signage can confuse. From there, the car flowed effortlessly into city streets πŸ™️, handling intersections, merging traffic, and signals with calm precision. Once we hit the Princes Highway πŸ›£️, the drive opened up into the stunning coastal scenery of Kiama 🌊. Our first major stop was the iconic Kiama Blowhole, a geological wonder that has drawn visitors for generations. Without hesitation, FSD guided us smoothly through traffic and right up to this world-famous landmark. Next, we continued on to the Kiama Rock Swimming Pool 🏊, a local gem set against the ocean. Here, the car tackled a narrow coastal car park πŸ…Ώ️, demonstrating careful logic and confidence where mistakes could have easily happened. Most impressively, the entire drive was completed with zero interventions 🀯. From suburban chaos to tourist destinations, FSD showed just how capable it is of handling Illawarra’s scenic routes in real-world conditions. ⸻ πŸ” Highlights of the Drive • 🚧 Smoothly navigated a construction zone • πŸ™️ Controlled city streets and intersections with ease • πŸ›£️ Joined the Princes Highway confidently • 🌊 Arrived at the Kiama Blowhole — a highlight of Illawarra’s coast • 🏊 Reached the Kiama Rock Swimming Pool • πŸ…Ώ️ Parked cleanly at a narrow coastal car park • 🀯 Zero driver interventions throughout the trip ⸻ This video is not just about testing autonomy. πŸš—⚡ FSD WIN Human FAIL | Officeworks to GP in Peak Monday Rush Hour πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

This was one of those drives that truly made me feel like the future has arrived. I started at the Officeworks parking lot, on a chaotic Monday morning during peak rush-hour traffic, and let Tesla Full Self-Driving (Supervised Down Under Edition) take me all the way to my General Practitioner’s medical practice. The result? Zero interventions. Well… almost. Because the only “fail” in this drive wasn’t the car — it was me, the human. At one point, I made a silly mistake that interrupted the otherwise perfect flow. So, in a way, this drive was a win for FSD and a fail for the human driver. ⸻ 🏁 The Start: Officeworks Parking Lot Parking lots are notoriously difficult for any driver assistance system. There are no clear lanes, painted signs vary, and cars are moving unpredictably. Yet FSD Supervised smoothly guided us out of the Officeworks lot, positioned itself perfectly for the exit, and transitioned seamlessly into the busy arterial road. No hesitation, no jerks, just logic. ⸻ 🚦 Peak Monday Morning Chaos Monday mornings are the worst for driving in Australia — bumper-to-bumper traffic, impatient drivers, constant lane shuffling. But FSD didn’t just survive it, it thrived. • ✅ It made clean, confident merges into heavy traffic. • ✅ It respected gaps without being timid. • ✅ It kept lane discipline even when cars tried to cut in aggressively. • ✅ It managed traffic lights with smooth starts and stops. This was a true stress test of city driving, and the car passed with flying colours. ⸻ πŸ›£️ Navigating Complex Intersections Along the route, there were several tricky intersections with multiple lanes feeding into each other. These are the kinds of places where human drivers get nervous and make mistakes (and sometimes I do too). But FSD consistently chose the right lane, anticipated merges, and kept its flow. Watching it navigate intersections in rush-hour Sydney traffic was like watching a pro chess player think three moves ahead. ⸻ πŸ₯ Arrival at the GP’s Practice The final leg of the journey was equally smooth. From Officeworks to the GP, the car handled suburban transitions, arterial roads, and final turns into the medical practice parking area with confidence. No stumbles, no awkward corrections — just a clean arrival at the destination. ⸻ πŸ˜… The Human “Fail” Moment Here’s the kicker: the only time this perfect drive was interrupted was because of me. Out of habit, I second-guessed the car and overrode it unnecessarily. It wasn’t an FSD failure — it was a human failure. And honestly, that’s the most telling part of this drive. The system was ready. The car was doing its job. But I wasn’t fully ready to trust it yet. It shows how much of the journey to autonomy is not just about the technology, but also about human adaptation. ⸻ ✅ Why This Drive Was Special This wasn’t just a commute. It was a demonstration of how far Tesla FSD has come in Australia. Here’s what stood out: • πŸš— Zero interventions by necessity — the system did its job flawlessly. • ⚡ Flawless motorway merges and exits under heavy traffic. • 🚦 Smart intersection logic during rush hour. • πŸ…Ώ️ Clean transitions from parking lot to suburban roads to destination. • 🀯 The only “mistake” was human, not machine. ⸻ ⚠️ What It Means for Autonomy Many people think of FSD as being “99% there.” But this drive reminded me that sometimes, it’s 100% ready for the situation at hand — and we humans are the ones catching up. Of course, not every drive is perfect. There are times when interventions are needed, times when the system hesitates, and times when edge cases reveal its limits. But today wasn’t that day. Today was proof that in the right conditions, FSD can handle the real-world messiness of Australian roads better than expected. ⸻ 🎯 Final Thoughts This was one of the most confidence-inspiring drives I’ve had with FSD Supervised Down Under. From a busy Officeworks parking lot to my GP’s medical practice, during the madness of Monday morning peak-hour traffic, the car did everything right. It merged. It yielded. It navigated intersections. It flowed with traffic. It parked at the destination. And while the car did its job flawlessly, the only weak link was me — a human who second-guessed the machine that was already right. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Officeworks to GP in Peak Rush Hour — Zero Interventions (Human Fail, FSD Win!)

REUPLOADED : Basement Car Park | Sydney Haymarket | ANZAC Bridge | πŸš—πŸŒ‰ | Tunnel | FSD Supervised πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

This drive is one of the most comprehensive Full Self-Driving Supervised tests I’ve done in Australia — and it was both thrilling and nerve-wracking. From multi-level underground car parks to the chaotic heart of Sydney’s CBD, from merges onto busy motorways to handling the Anzac Bridge and tunnels, this drive truly pushed FSD to its limits. And the best part? This is an unedited video — you see everything exactly as it happened, the good, the bad, and the moments where I stepped in. ⸻ πŸ” Highlights of the Drive • πŸ…Ώ️ Multi-level underground car park – Watching FSD attempt to work its way out of a tight underground car park was fascinating. It almost managed the entire process logically, but you could see how lack of detailed 3D mapping still poses challenges. • πŸ™️ Sydney Haymarket navigation – A true stress test. Haymarket is one of Sydney’s busiest spots, full of cars, buses, pedestrians, and complicated intersections. FSD did remarkably well in most cases, but there was one scary moment where, instead of continuing straight, it was in the right lane and tried to merge left to go straight at a packed intersection. That was a place I had to step in. • πŸŒ† Sydney CBD run – From Haymarket, we dove deeper into the city, navigating through World Square and along Pitt Street. These are streets full of distractions, parked cars, narrow lanes, and unpredictable traffic — yet FSD held its composure surprisingly well. • πŸŒ‰ Anzac Bridge test – Driving onto and across the Anzac Bridge was smooth. The logic of lane choice and merging worked beautifully here, showcasing FSD’s ability to adapt to larger, multi-lane flows. • πŸš‡ Sydney tunnels – Taking FSD into the tunnels was another highlight. Even in low-light, GPS-compromised environments, the car tracked lanes well and maintained good speed control. • πŸ”€ Special motorway merge – One of the standout moments was watching FSD merge from a small side lane directly onto the main motorway. It judged the gap confidently and committed to the move in a way that felt almost human. ⸻ ✅ The Wins • Nearly got out of a multi-level underground car park • Smooth handling of tunnels and bridges • Confident motorway merge from side lane • Adapted to CBD and World Square chaos with surprising composure • Lane choice and speed management were excellent in most cases ⚠️ The Misses & Interventions • Scary Haymarket error: tried to shift lanes incorrectly at a busy intersection • Several times I chose to take over out of caution — maybe FSD would have been fine, but in Sydney’s traffic you can’t always wait to find out • Struggled in the underground car park without detailed maps ⸻ 🎯 Why This Test Matters Most people think of FSD as something that shines on highways or quiet suburban roads. But the true challenge of autonomy is in the heart of a city like Sydney, where every corner brings new chaos — buses cutting across lanes, confusing intersections, car parks with no clear markings, and pedestrians everywhere. This drive shows just how far Tesla has come with FSD Supervised Down Under: • It’s 99% brilliant — showing logic, patience, and composure in places even human drivers sweat. • But that last 1% of unpredictable edge cases — like sudden lane errors or misreading an intersection — is exactly what makes the journey to full autonomy so tricky. ⸻ πŸ—£️ Final Thoughts This drive had everything: underground car parks, bumper-to-bumper city chaos, tunnels, bridges, and motorway merges. It also had mistakes, interventions, and tense moments — because that’s the reality of testing Full Self-Driving today. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Sydney Haymarket, CBD, Tunnels & Anzac Bridge Test — an unedited, real-world look at the wins and the weaknesses. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #Sydney #SydneyCBD #Haymarket #WorldSquare #PittStreet #AnzacBridge #SydneyTunnels #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #AutonomousDriving #TeslaDownUnder

There’s something magical about testing Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under at night — headlights cutting through the drizzle, quiet suburban roads, and the thrill of knowing the car is making most of the decisions. In this drive, we didn’t just take the Model 3 for a simple cruise. We pushed the system hard, forcing it into confusing scenarios, tight turns, and real-world challenges that most drivers face every week. And while there were loads of positives (including a sweet McDonald’s drive-thru test πŸ”πŸŸ), there were also a couple of moments that reminded us that the final 0.01% of autonomy is going to be the toughest to crack. ⸻ πŸ” Highlights of the Drive • 🌧️ Drizzle conditions – Rain makes everything harder. Reflections, reduced visibility, glare — and yet, FSD kept its cool. • πŸ”„ Tight 3-point turn – At a dead-end street, the car executed a remarkably precise 3-point turn, showing composure even in a situation where many human drivers would shuffle nervously. • ⚡ Forced errors – We deliberately tried to confuse the car, throwing curveballs at it. And surprisingly, in most cases, it resisted doing the wrong thing, defaulting to safe decisions instead of risky ones. • 🏞️ Mount Pleasant sloping roads – A real test of logic and braking. With inclines, declines, and limited visibility over crests, FSD had to judge carefully. • πŸ›£️ Joining Princes Motorway from Mount Pleasant – A bold move where the car merged seamlessly from steep suburban terrain onto the motorway, adapting to faster flows of traffic without hesitation. • πŸ” McDonald’s drive-thru test – This was the fun highlight. Guiding a Tesla through a Macca’s drive-thru at night in the rain felt surreal. Narrow lanes, tight corners, low-speed precision — and FSD handled it like a champ. • 🚧 Forced shoulder drive (scary) – One of the moments where we tested FSD’s limits. Forcing it onto the shoulder at night in drizzle was unsettling. It goes to show that while the system is robust, it’s still not invincible. • ⚠️ Post-McDonald’s unforced error – After the drive-thru win, there was a strange slip-up. A reminder that while FSD is 99.99% there, the remaining 0.01% is the hardest and most critical to solve before we can call it fully safe. ⸻ ✅ The Positives • Smooth navigation in night + drizzle conditions • Logical decisions even when we tried to confuse it • Excellent control in tight, low-speed manoeuvres like the 3-point turn • Confident handling of sloping roads and blind crests at Mount Pleasant • Seamless merge onto the Princes Motorway from steep terrain • Pulled off a drive-thru test that felt futuristic and fun ⚠️ The Watchouts • Forced shoulder test was unsettling and shows the risks of edge-case driving • One unforced post-drive-thru error — small, but significant as a reminder that autonomy isn’t perfect yet ⸻ 🎯 Why This Test Matters It’s easy to watch Tesla FSD handle clean motorways and think the job is done. But real life happens in rain, at night, in dead ends, in parking lots, on hilly roads, and even in McDonald’s drive-thrus. These are the environments that separate flashy demos from real-world usability. This drive proved something important: FSD is astonishingly close to perfection, but not quite there yet. The positives far outweighed the negatives. It resisted our attempts to trick it, made smart choices most of the time, and handled drizzle, low-visibility hills, and motorway merges impressively well. But the moments of weakness — the forced shoulder scare and the small post-Macca’s misstep — show why that last 0.01% matters so much. Autonomy isn’t about being great 99% of the time. It’s about being bulletproof 100% of the time. ⸻ πŸ—£️ Final Thoughts Driving with FSD Supervised Down Under at night in drizzle felt like looking into the future. A car that can navigate traffic, handle car parks, take roundabouts, execute a 3-point turn, merge from hilly terrain to a motorway, and even go through a drive-thru mostly on its own is nothing short of remarkable. But the technology still needs refining before we can sit back completely hands-off. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Night Drive in the Drizzle + McDonald’s Drive-Thru Test — showing us how close we are, and why the final step is the hardest. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #NightDrive #AutonomousDriving #TeslaDownUnder #MaccasDriveThru #TeslaInTheRain #3PointTurn #MountPleasant #PrincesMotorway

πŸš—πŸ›£️ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Monday Morning Traffic & Officeworks Parking Test πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Full Self-Driving Supervised Down Under isn’t just about open roads — it’s about how well it handles the chaos of real life. And what better test than a Monday morning bumper-to-bumper commute through suburban streets, a busy junction, motorway merges, and finally a tricky parking lot at Officeworks? This drive captured everything from slow-moving traffic stress tests to lane selection in fast-moving flows — all while showing the potential (and current limitations) of Tesla’s FSD in Australia. ⸻ πŸ” Highlights of the Drive • 🏘️ Suburban start – From a quiet residential street straight into a plus junction merge. • πŸš— Bumper-to-bumper traffic – Real Monday morning chaos, testing FSD’s patience and flow. • πŸ›£️ Motorway merge – A beautiful, confident entry into the fast lane. • ↔️ Lane discipline – Smart move back into the middle lane, adapting to conditions smoothly. • 🚦 Complex exits – A left exit immediately followed by another left exit, handled under pressure. • πŸ…Ώ️ Officeworks parking lot – The car located and parked neatly in a spot… but unfortunately, it was a disabled space ⚠️. A reminder that Tesla still has work to do in recognising car park signage. ⸻ ✅ The Wins • Excellent handling of merging traffic • Flawless motorway lane changes • Strong performance in dense, stop-and-go conditions • Clean parking execution in a crowded car park ⚠️ The Misses • Parking logic still needs refinement: chose a disabled spot despite plenty of other spaces available • A few moments of hesitation when exits came up quickly ⸻ 🎯 Why This Test Matters Autonomy won’t just be judged on empty highways — it’ll be judged on whether it can handle Monday morning stress. Merges, exits, traffic jams, and finding parking at busy stores are the real-world challenges drivers face every day. This drive showed how far FSD has come — and where it still needs improvements. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Monday Morning Traffic & Officeworks Parking — the real test of suburban to motorway to car park driving. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #Officeworks #MondayMorningTraffic #AutonomousDriving #MotorwayMerge #BumperToBumper #TeslaDownUnder

πŸš—πŸ™️ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Inner Roads | Fellow Gong Mate’s Suggestion πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Not all driving happens on motorways — in fact, most of it doesn’t. This video is a true real-world test of Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under in the inner roads of Wollongong, with thanks to a fellow Gong mate, GAFA, who suggested this route on X (Twitter). So we put it to the test: narrow roads, cars parked on either side, some streets with medians, others without, tight lanes, blind crests… the works. This was about seeing how FSD handled the kind of daily drives between suburbs that Wollongong locals know so well. ⸻ πŸ” Highlights of the Drive • 🏘️ Inner Roads around Gwynneville & UOW – Suburban streets with cars parked on both sides, forcing careful navigation. • 🚧 Mixed Road Types – Some with medians, some without, testing lane discipline and spacing. • πŸ›‘ Realistic Everyday Traffic – Not motorway speed, but stop-and-go, with human drivers squeezing into gaps. • 🏞️ Mount Pleasant Hills – Steep inclines with reduced visibility over crests; a real challenge for any driver, human or AI. • πŸ™Œ Community Input – Special thanks to GAFA for suggesting this test — proving that community feedback helps shape what gets tested. • πŸ—£️ Extensive Commentary – Live insights into what the car was doing, why it behaved that way, and where it needed help. ⸻ ✅ The Wins • Confident lane selection even with narrow spacing • Yielded for traffic and adapted to suburban road etiquette • Handled hilly terrain at Mount Pleasant better than expected • Smooth overall drive without leaning too heavily on motorways ⚠️ The Misses • Occasional hesitations where the road narrowed suddenly • Moments of confusion around parked cars and blind crests • Not flawless, reminding us that inner roads still push FSD harder than highways ⸻ 🎯 Why This Test Matters Most FSD videos show highways and major roads. But in Wollongong, like most suburbs in Australia, it’s the inner roads that really matter. Narrow lanes, hills, parked cars, and local quirks — that’s where autonomy will be tested the hardest. Thanks to GAFA’s suggestion, this drive showcases the strengths and weaknesses of FSD in a way that’s relevant to everyday Gong drivers. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Inner Roads of Wollongong | Tested on a Fellow Gong Mate’s Suggestion — the real test of suburb-to-suburb driving. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #Wollongong #GongMate #FSDInnerRoads #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #UniversityOfWollongong #MountPleasant #AutonomousDriving #TeslaDownUnder

πŸš—πŸŒ 360 video | Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Wollongong Short Drives | 360° VR Experience πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

This is not your average Tesla drive video. This is a full 360° immersive experience of Tesla FSD Supervised (Down Under Edition), shot in Wollongong on day two of owning the car with FSD enabled. That means if you’re watching this on your phone or VR goggles, you can actually spin around, look in every direction, zoom in, zoom out, and experience the drive as if you were sitting in the car with me. On desktop or TV, you can still enjoy the keyframed highlights, but for those who love immersion, this is the closest you’ll get to being there. ⚡ ⚠️ Warning: If you’re prone to headaches, nausea, or motion sickness with 360° content, I’d recommend watching this in flat mode. It’s been edited and keyframed to show the good parts, but the option for a fully interactive VR experience is all yours. ⸻ πŸ” Highlights of the Drive • πŸ›£️ Fowler’s Road, Horsley – Started from a sloping dead end road that was partially unmarked and unfinished. A confusing setup for FSD, but fascinating to watch how it handled it. • πŸ›’ Dapto Mall – Executed a tricky left turn onto a sloping ramp into the car park. One of those moves that really shows off what FSD can do under pressure. • πŸš‰ Dapto Train Station – A perfect entry turn into the station, clean and controlled, proving that FSD can shine in everyday urban driving. • πŸ–️ Bulli Beach – Ended the run with a drive to the beach, accompanied by extensive commentary about what the car was doing and why it behaved the way it did. ⸻ πŸŽ₯ Why This Video is Different This isn’t just a recording of FSD. It’s a 360° VR-enabled journey — giving you control of the perspective. You can see what I saw, look at how traffic moved around us, or just sit back and let the camera guide you through the highlights. It’s also a personal milestone: my second day with FSD Supervised Down Under. By now I was excited but also a bit more comfortable — you’ll notice that I didn’t have to hold the steering wheel as tightly, letting the system do its thing while I supervised. That mix of early excitement and growing trust in the system makes this drive special. ⸻ ✅ The Wins • Successfully handled sloping roads and tricky ramps • Nailed turns into busy real-world places like malls and train stations • Smooth and confident drive to the coast • Great balance between commentary and live testing ⚠️ The Watchouts • Still moments of hesitation and misses • 360° video may cause discomfort for some viewers — flat screen mode recommended if so ⸻ ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Wollongong Short Drives | 360° VR Experience — real roads, real tests, and a whole new way to watch. #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #Wollongong #360Video #VRExperience #BulliBeach #Dapto #DaptoMall #DaptoTrainStation #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #AutonomousDriving #TeslaVR

πŸš—πŸŒŠ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Shell Cove Marina Chaos Test πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

What happens when you throw Tesla FSD Supervised into one of the trickiest suburban environments in Australia? In this video, we took my Tesla Model 3 through Shell Cove Marina, a constantly evolving suburb where construction zones, new estates, and marina upgrades mean the maps are always changing — the perfect recipe to confuse FSD. This drive wasn’t about smooth highways. It was about pushing the car into chaotic, real-world scenarios and seeing how it would cope. ⸻ πŸ” Highlights of the Drive • 🌊 Shell Cove Marina – Tested FSD in a new suburb with constantly shifting layouts and construction detours. • πŸ…Ώ️ Ground-floor car park test – Took the car into an open car park to see how it would handle tight spaces, signs, and flow. • ⬇️ Basement car park experiment – Let the car try to figure out how to get out of the underground car park without help. A fascinating test of logic in an environment without clear mapping. • ❓ Q&A with my friend Amjad Amjad – Real questions from a layperson perspective, covering what someone thinking of buying a Tesla or the FSD package would want to know. • πŸš— Extended suburban estate to marina run – A long drive through estates, suburban exits, and into Shell Cove, showing both wins and misses. ⸻ ✅ The Wins • Smooth through suburban exits, rights, and lefts • Yielded correctly at roundabouts and intersections • Managed many confusing layouts logically • Some real flashes of brilliance even in new, unmapped areas ⚠️ The Misses • Fumbled in ground-level car park navigation • Struggled in the basement car park to find its way out • Missed cues in areas where 3D mapping was incomplete • Multiple interventions required — proving it’s not all roses 🌹 ⸻ 🎯 Why This Test Matters FSD’s true value will be tested not on highways, but in everyday chaos — malls, car parks, new suburbs, and confusing layouts. This experiment wasn’t perfect, but it highlighted both how far the tech has come and how dependent it still is on 3D mapping. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised Down Under | Shell Cove Marina Chaos Test — wins, misses, and the future of self-driving in Australia. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #ShellCove #Shellharbour #ShellCoveMarina #FSDSupervised #TeslaModel3 #AutonomousDriving #TeslaFSD #ParkingChallenge #3dmapping 0:00 - Introduction 1:02 - Suburban estate 2:25 - Questions 15:18 - Newish Suburb Shellcove Marina Parking fiasco 28:08 - Basement Parking vs Tesla FSD Supervised

πŸš—πŸŒ‰ Tesla FSD Supervised vs Sydney Harbour Bridge | Night Drive from Alexandria Tesla Showroom πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

What happens when you take Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) through the heart of Sydney, at night, across the Harbour Bridge? This video captures a 40-minute drive starting from the Tesla Showroom in Alexandria, through the Sydney CBD, into the tunnels, and finally gliding over the Harbour Bridge — one of the most iconic drives in the world. Along the way, I was joined by my good friend Manish Vishwanath, and we had some deep conversations about adoption of FSD, future mobility in Australia, and how it could change lives. One powerful moment was when we talked about an octogenarian driver who was delighted by the thought of FSD — because it could mean holding on to his license for longer, preserving his independence and ambulation. That’s the human side of this tech. ❤️ ⸻ ✨ The Positives This was one of the most flawless city drives I’ve had with FSD. • 🚦 Unprotected right turns: clean, confident, and human-like • πŸš— Merges and lane selection through Sydney CBD traffic felt natural • πŸŒ‰ Harbour Bridge navigation was smooth, selecting the correct lanes perfectly • πŸ›£️ Tunnel driving was seamless before we stopped for dinner ⸻ ⚠️ The Incidents Even with so many wins, there were a few moments that stood out: • 😬 An unnerving lane change seconds before a fork in the road, just after crossing the Harbour Bridge • ⛔ Two false moves where the car attempted to turn left into blocked roads marked with “Do Not Turn Left” signage • 🚘 One manual intervention when a car on my left tried merging — FSD stayed a bit too close, and I had to take over ⸻ πŸ—£️ Why This Drive Matters Driving across the Sydney Harbour Bridge at night can be intimidating — but honestly, this run felt far less scary than Tom’s Harbour Bridge night drive over on LudicrousFeed. FSD handled most of it with grace and control, giving us a glimpse into the future of urban driving in Australia. This video isn’t just about showing where FSD wins and where it stumbles — it’s about asking what this tech means for real people: older drivers, city commuters, and anyone who wants a safer, smarter way to travel. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised vs Sydney Harbour Bridge Night Drive — the wins, the fails, and the future of driving Down Under. ⸻ #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #Sydney #SydneyCBD #HarbourBridge #TeslaNightDrive #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #AutonomousDriving #SydneyTunnels #TeslaCommunity #ElectricVehicles #SmartDriving #TeslaShowroom #LudicrousFeed #evfuture 0:00 - Introduction 1:33 - Driving out of Tesla Alexandria on FSD Supervised Down Under 2:32 - Not holding Steering wheel 3:55 - An octogenarian's perspective of FSD 6:35 - Unprotected right turn 16:05 - Cool merge by FSD Supervised 19:40 - When will we all get FSD 23:56 - Keep Clear 25:17 - Wong Move 29:19 - Sydney Harbour Bridge on FSD 31:51 - WTF Exit from Harbour Bridge

πŸš—⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised | Chaos Drive Highlights

Everyday driving isn’t just highways — it’s car parks, chaotic intersections, and the kind of traffic that tests even the best humans. That’s why we threw Tesla FSD Supervised into some of the hardest situations you’ll find in Australia. The mall car park set the tone. FSD showed smart logic handling tight spaces, pedestrians, and blind corners — but it still can’t read floor arrows or painted signs. The result? Some wins, some confusion, and not a zero-intervention drive. But out on the streets came the good wins — and this’ll was two: • ✅ Smooth navigation through tight spaces • 🚢 Handling sudden pedestrian movement • πŸ‘€ Smart adjustments when cars appeared from blind spots • 🚦 A T-junction at evening rush hour: relentless traffic, tiny gaps, and FSD holding its nerve • πŸ”„ An unprotected right turn with two lanes of opposing traffic — one car turning right, another barreling straight. FSD judged the moment and committed safely. At the same time, it wasn’t a zero-intervention drive. There were moments where I had to step in, especially when lane choice and flow direction confused the system. This drive proved that FSD isn’t just about smooth roads and easy wins. It’s about logic under fire. From malls to messy intersections, it’s learning how to behave in situations where most humans would hesitate. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised — not flawless, but every win feels like a leap into the future. #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #FSDSupervised #MallCarPark #Tjunction #UnprotectedRightTurn #AutonomousDriving #TeslaFSD

πŸš—πŸ’¨ Tesla FSD Supervised | Macquarie Pass Downhill Challenge

After the amazing uphill drive on Macquarie Pass, it was time to face the real test: the downhill run. If you’ve driven Macquarie Pass, you know the difference. Uphill is tough — but downhill is brutal. Momentum builds fast, braking zones are tighter, and every hairpin bend demands razor-sharp control. For Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised), this was a whole new battlefield. From the first descent, the car had to manage: • ⚡ Momentum control on steep grades • πŸš— Tight hairpin corners stacked one after the other • Oncoming traffic in narrow, winding lanes • Situations where one wrong move could mean disaster What impressed me was how the system balanced braking, steering, and judgement under pressure. It wasn’t flawless — there were moments where the downhill momentum challenged its comfort zone — but FSD showed it could think ahead, not just react. Compared to the uphill drive, where the focus was power and precision, the downhill test was all about restraint and control. And watching the AI handle that balance was nothing short of fascinating. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised | Macquarie Pass Downhill — when gravity fights back. #Tesla #FSD #MacquariePass #TeslaAustralia #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #AutonomousDriving #DownhillChallenge #HairpinTurns

πŸŒ™ Tesla FSD Supervised | Night Drive in Wollongong | Underground carpark i

Night driving is a whole new challenge for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised). Headlights, shadows, reflections, unpredictable drivers — it’s a stress test for logic. So we took FSD into Wollongong at night to see how it would perform. Right from the start, the drive threw challenges. The car had to navigate out of an underground car park, identify a boom gate, and make its way into busy night traffic. To my surprise, it showed sharp reasoning under pressure. Highlights included: • A tight 3-point turn with zero human intervention • Tackling suburban streets with steep inclines confidently • Staying calm against aggressive drivers weaving through traffic • Using smart logic to avoid confusion and choose a different school entrance when one was blocked Instead of freezing up or making unsafe decisions, FSD showed a measured, human-like calmness. Every move felt calculated, not reckless — an impressive display of how far Tesla’s AI has come. This wasn’t a smooth highway cruise. This was real city-night chaos — car parks, obstacles, impatient drivers, and sudden decision-making. And yet, FSD handled it with logic that at times felt more patient than most humans on the road. ⚡ Tesla FSD Supervised | Night Drive in Wollongong — AI driving logic at its best. #Tesla #FSD #TeslaAustralia #NightDrive #Wollongong #FSDSupervised #TeslaFSD #AutonomousDriving
